Koch is It, Pt. 2

Posted by in |

This week’s New York Observer reveals that David Koch studied up on 740 Park before he moved into his new apartment in the storied building. Koch has more than one 740 connection. He’d bought his previous apartment at 1040 Fifth Avenue from Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, who grew up at 740, which was built by her grandfather. The Observer also reveals that Koch has now sold the 1040 apartment to a hedge fund manager for a reported $32 million. Nice deal! Koch paid only $18 million for his much-larger 740 spread.
